1. General Policy. A-List Agent will not monitor, edit, or disclose the contents of the private communications of a user of the A-List Agent website unless required to do so in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform with the law or to comply with legal process served upon A-List Agent; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of A-List Agent; or (3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the A-List Agent website or the public.
2. Information We Request Directly From You. The A-List Agent website's registration forms, order forms, surveys and contests require you to give us accurate and complete contact information (e.g., your name and email address), occasionally, unique identifiers (e.g., your social security number and/or login name and password), and demographic information (e.g., your zip code, age, or income level). Our order forms require financial information (e.g., your account or credit card numbers) as well.
3. Contact Information. Your contact information may be used to contact you when necessary in connection with transactions entered into by you on the A-List Agent website. Your contact information may be used to effect the delivery of services to which you may subscribe. We also may use your contact information to send you information and offers from A-List Agent and promotional material from our partners, affiliates or sponsors.
4. Updating Personal Information. The A-List Agent website gives users the opportunity to change and/or modify information you have provided to us. Changing or deleting your data will change or delete the data only in our registration database, but will not change or delete information which we have collected as part of a particular transaction in our transactions database. If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may update or delete the information by logging in with your username and password in and making the change or by emailing us at info@alistagent.com with your request to update or delete your information.
5. Confidentiality of Personal Information. A-List Agent will not sell, rent, license or otherwise share the personally identifiable contact information (i.e., your registration email address, billing address, etc.) that you submit in the context of registration for our services. If you register for a third party service through A-List Agent, your personally identifiable contact information will generally be shared with that service. Information that you may provide, at your discretion, in creating or updating your Profile, however, is intended for public disclosure and thus can be viewed by third parties who subscribe to the A-List Agent website or other A-List Agent information services, unless or until such a time that you mark it as Confidential. A subset of the information in your Profile may be marked as Confidential.
6. Profile Information. All information that is contributed by our users for inclusion in their Profiles, in addition to that collected by us from public web sources and assessment interviews will be available to A-List Agent and to subscribers of the A-List Agent website and other A-List Agent information services. Information that you may provide, at your discretion, in creating or updating your Profile is intended for public disclosure and thus can be viewed by third parties who subscribe to the A-List Agent website or other A-List Agent information services, unless or until such a time that you mark it as Confidential. A subset of the information in your Profile may be marked as Confidential. If you would like us to remove your Profile from our service, send an email to info@alistagent.com with your request, and we will gladly remove your information. We may retain your Profile Information in a database, which will remain available only to A-List Agent, and third parties will no longer have access to it.
7. Financial Information. Financial information collected by A-List Agent is used to verify payment and to bill you for services. Unique identifiers (e.g., social security number and/or login name and password) may be collected from you to verify your identity and for use as account numbers in our record system. A-List Agent will not share financial or unique identifier information with third parties without your prior consent. When you make a purchase on the A-List Agent website, your consent is given to provide limited parts of your financial or contact information to those third parties as necessary to process your transactions with us, such as credit card companies and companies that handle fulfillment on our behalf.
8. Demographic Information. A-List Agent may use your demographic information to tailor the A-List Agent website to the interests of our users. This information may be shared with advertisers only on an aggregate basis, without providing your contact information or unique identifiers, so that advertisements can be tailored to the appropriate audience.
9. User Forums. A-List Agent may provide online services for users of the A-List Agent website to inform and promote information to the general public. Once published, the content of such information is considered to be information available in the public domain. Please remember that you bear sole responsibility for what you say or allow to be said on the A-List Agent website using your account, and bear in mind that A-List Agent serves diverse communities.
10. Unsolicited Communication/Spam. Any form of unsolicited communication to people who post information to or receive information from alistagent.com is not an acceptable use of the A-List Agent website. Unless a posting explicitly allows direct contact or direct contact for a limited purpose, you must assume that the person does not grant permission to contact them for any other purpose.
11. Cookies. Our site may use cookies to keep track of pages that you visit in the A-List Agent website and services or products purchased. Cookies may be used to deliver content specific to your interests, to save your password so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the A-List Agent website, and for other purposes related to providing service to you.
12. Other Information Collection and Use. Like many other web-based service providers, A-List Agent collects limited non-personally identifiable information provided by your browser as you use our website and services. This is done in order to provide the best possible services to you and our other users. This non-personally identifiable information may include (but is not limited to) IP address, browser type, time and date of use, and any activity performed while on our website or using our services. We may also place and/or read cookies on your computer to help us identify whether you have visited our site in the past so we can customize our services and your experience. A-List Agent takes note of the website that referred you to our web site, but otherwise we do not gather information about websites or web pages you visit after visiting our website.
13. Your IP Address. We may collect and use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer the A-List Agent website. IP addresses are collected and used to help identify visitors to the A-List Agent website and to gather broad demographic information about our visitors.
14. Disclosures in Chat Rooms and on Message Boards, Etc. The A-List Agent website may make available user-administered chat rooms, forums, message boards, event calendars and/or news groups at various times. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ANY INFORMATION YOU DISCLOSE IN THESE AREAS BECOMES PUBLIC INFORMATION AND YOU SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN DECIDING TO DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION.
15. Security Precautions. The A-List Agent website will have security measures using SSL in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Secure server software using SSL is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. We will follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
16. Other Websites/Third Party Vendors and their Privacy Policies. The A-List Agent website may contain links to other websites on the Internet and World Wide Web. A-List Agent is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other websites or for the privacy policies and practices of third parties. The A-List Agent service may include both direct and third party advertising. Advertisers may use cookies and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to increase the likelihood that the ads served are relevant to you. A-List Agent does not provide any personally identifiable information to third party advertisers, and A-List Agent does not control or have access to the cookies that may be placed by these advertisers or to the information they collect.
